Welcome to The Learning Nest – Unique Home Education Ltd (“we,” “our,” or “us”). By subscribing to our services, accessing our platform, or using our educational materials, you (“Subscriber,” “you,” or “your”) agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully before completing your subscription.
1. Eligibility and Account Safety
Age Requirement: Subscriptions must be purchased by an adult (parent or legal guardian) aged 18 or older.
Account Responsibility: You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account login details. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.
Permitted Use: Each subscription is for personal, non-commercial use within a single household unless an explicit institutional license is purchased.
2. Subscriptions, Billing, and Renewals
Subscription Models: We offer a monthly subscription plan. Once a subscription order has been placed, you then have access to The Learning Nest – Unique Home Education Ltd content for the billing period (1 full calendar month, e.g. if subscription starts on the 1st May 2026, you have access until 1st June 2026). The specific inclusions and pricing of your plan will be outlined during the checkout process.
Automatic Renewal: All subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period using the payment method saved to our payments provider, unless cancelled before the start of the next billing period.
Price Changes: We reserve the right to adjust our subscription rates. We will provide you with at least 30 days’ notice before any price adjustments take effect, allowing you the opportunity to cancel if you do not agree to the new rates.
Content access: New learning content will be generated daily (Monday-Friday) for our learners. Access to content, will be retained during the billing period (1 calendar month) until the next billing period (1 calendar month) and so on until cancellation.
3. Cancellations and Refunds
Cancellation Policy: You can cancel your subscription at any time through your account portal or by contacting our support team at [email protected].
Effect of Cancellation: Upon cancellation, you will retain access to the platform and materials until the end of your current, paid billing period. No further renewal payments will be charged.
Refund Policy: Due to the digital and immediately accessible nature of our educational content, all subscription fees are non-refundable, except where required by local consumer protection laws. If you believe there has been a billing error, please contact us as soon as possible.
4. Intellectual Property Rights
Ownership: All content provided on our platform—including but not limited to lesson plans, worksheets, videos, graphics, quizzes, and software—is the intellectual property of The Learning Nest – Unique Home Education ltd or its licensors.
Limited License: Your subscription grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to view, use, and print materials solely for your family’s home education purposes.
Restrictions: You strictly agree not to sell, redistribute, publicly display, or share login credentials or digital files with anyone outside your immediate household.
5. Content Delivery and System Requirements
Platform Availability: While we strive for 100% uptime, access to our digital platform may occasionally be suspended for scheduled maintenance, system updates, or emergency repairs.
Technical Requirements: You are responsible for ensuring your device and internet connection meet the minimum technical requirements necessary to stream or download our content.
6. Educational Disclaimer
No Guarantee of Outcomes: We provide comprehensive tools and materials designed to assist in home education. However, we cannot guarantee specific academic results, test scores, or development milestones.
Legal Compliance: Home education laws and reporting requirements vary widely by country, state, or province. It is entirely your responsibility to ensure that your use of our materials complies with the educational regulations in your local jurisdiction.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, The Learning Nest – Unique Home Education ltd and its team shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from your use of, or inability to use, our platform or materials.
8. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time to reflect changes in our business practices or legal obligations. We will notify you of any significant changes via email or through a prominent notice on our website. Your continued use of the service after such updates constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
9. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of The United Kingdom, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
