Skills-Based Learning
The Learning Nest approach provides skills-based learning for young people.

Building the Skills to Thrive
The Learning Nest supports learners to develop holistically with a balance of key 21st century skills (such as critical thinking, personal initiative, self-direction and creativity) alongside key academic skills (in reading, writing and numeracy).
This skills-based learning approach aims to enable our young people to:
- develop as confident learners – to ask questions, discover and research
- develop as curious learners – who can listen to and reflect on different opinions
- develop the disciplines of personal responsibility for their actions and choices
Skills-based learning at the Learning Nest supports rounded education and development; preparing rounded minds equipped for the modern world.
Cultivating Character, Curiosity and Confidence
