The Learning Nest is accessed through a rolling monthly subscription, giving learners access to weekday learning activities and opportunities through our online portal.
Accessing The Learning Nest Portal
The Learning Nest is accessed via a rolling four-weekly subscription. Learning opportunities are available in themed weekly blocks, which are released every Monday. This affords flexibility for learners and their unique home environments, across the week.
Our activities and learning opportunities are thematic, interesting, fun and relevant to the lives of young people. Each week, learners can expect to find a varied menu of activities, including pre-recorded teaching clips, quizzes, worksheets, key questions, ideas for discussion and practical tasks.
Learning at the Right Level
We recognise that each young person brings with them their own prior learning journey and will have varying levels of confidence and challenge. Learners can therefore select differentiated levels of challenge depending on their own abilities — not the arbitrary value of their age.
Many tasks are 'open ended' and can be developed and shaped by the learner. Other activities are carefully differentiated. Our 'leaf' system indicates the level of challenge a task requires. As a guide, one leaf tasks are generally suitable for most 7-9 year olds, two leaf tasks for 10-12 year olds and three leaf tasks for our 13-14 year olds. Of course, learners can access the level that most suits them.

Once a subscription order has been placed, learners will have access to The Learning Nest online portal for the billing period of 4 full weeks (inclusive of the week started e.g. if a subscription is taken out on a Friday, a learner would receive access of that full weeks block of learning plus 3 more full weeks of learning before the subscription renews).
