There are so many thoughtful features. I loved that it doesn’t put pressure on the individual, but instead eases them into a way of learning that feels right for them and completely different from a traditional school setting. The ‘learning tasks’ are brilliant — split into clear chunks with stretchers and next steps — and the printable log is such a lovely touch, helping learners visually track their achievements and progress. It’s a really gentle, considered approach to learning, and we genuinely felt calm when watching the videos.

The Learning Nest is incredibly user‑friendly and offers so much high‑quality content. I love the tick list — it’s brilliant for helping learners see exactly what they have and haven’t completed. The teaching clips are just the right length and focus on the key points of each lesson, and the value is fantastic compared to the cost of a single hour with a tutor. Knowing the equipment needed before each lesson is so helpful, and the consistent structure — Explore, Try It, Apply It, Reflect — means learners always know what to expect. It’s a really well‑designed learning experience.

The Learning Nest has such a clear, intuitive layout and is incredibly easy to navigate. I love the way each subject ticks off as you complete it, so you always know exactly where to restart after a break. The wellbeing areas are fantastic — especially Choosing Calm and Choice Moments — and the carefully chosen TED Talks add so much depth. Every lesson has a strong life‑skills focus, which keeps children engaged, and the whole platform feels fool proof for anyone home educating. The range of subjects is excellent, and each one is set out in a consistent, concise way that makes learning feel calm, structured and enjoyable.
